The objective of MYELINET (Myelin Orphan Diseases in Health) COST Action is to better understand and fight diseases affecting the CNS nerve-insulating myelin such as inherited leukodystrophies and white matter diseases of the premature. Therefore Myelinet’s main objective is to combine a number of recognized European research and medical groups from 20 European countries for a coordinated approach to fight these diseases.
